For private property, we charge an hourly rate of $200. In general, it takes anywhere from 3-5 hours to clear away all plants within 20 ft of an average sized dock. This of course can vary based on the square footage of area needed cleared, and the amount of plants. We will meet on your dock before starting so we can discuss exactly what your needs and budget are, to ensure you are never charged more than expected.

Our divers are trained to pull your unwanted weeds by the roots and carefully remove all seeds and rhizomes, doing our best to ensure that the plant wont grow back next season. New seeds can of course float in from other parts of the lake or river over time, but you should see lasting effects for years to come.

Chemical treatments leave the water unsafe to swim in for several days. In addition, it is not precise, and can spread to damage and kill native ecosystems. Aquatic ecosystems can be incredibly fragile, and it is our goal to manage weeds in a sustainable and eco-friendly manner.

We use zero chemicals, so the water is safe to enter immediately after our work is done. However, the nature of our work tends to kick up mud and sediment in the area, leaving the water murky for several hours.

We use a dredge system to suck the plants up to our boat, where we can then safely haul them to dry land where they will decompose and add nutrients to the land without risk of spreading invasive weeds. If you prefer us to place these weeds on your land for composting or mulch, it can drastically reduce the time (and cost) of our services, as we wont need to haul them off.
